Dreams of home building began as a child for Mike Christensen while trying to keep up with his grandfather as he walked new homes in Billings Montana. At 17, Mike wanted to learn Home building from the bottom up and he began working his first job in residential construction as a laborer for a residential building company. Mike’s was a quick study and at 20 he earned the distinction of being the youngest superintendent for a large home builder in the area that built over 200 homes per year. Here he learned the importance of quality, efficiency and “doing it right the first time”.

In 2000 he was contracted to build a “Street of Dreams Home” in the Seattle area and Mike’s career as a custom home builder took off. Mike gained a reputation for excellent design and high-quality execution on custom homes for his clients in and around the competitive Seattle Washington market. In 2012, another large Northwest residential home building company noticed Mike’s talents, attention to detail, and proven cost-effective building systems, and he was privileged to act as its CEO, taking that company forward to become an award-winner in the Pacific Northwest.

Mike’s many successes and 30+ years of experience have thankfully enabled a return to his roots—his heart had always been in Montana. Now he pairs a passion for excellence and quality with home plans and finishes of high design, always ahead of the trends in popular home styles.
